Projects in BSF Phase 2 (Round 3)
Phase 2 (Round 3) started in January 2009 with 11 NGO’s and another 5 NGOs (HARD, IMC, MEDAIR, UMCOR, WORLD VISION) signed a contract in March 2009 after the CIDA contribution came through. The funding is available until June 2010.

From mid 2002 continuous negotiations took place between the Government of the Republic of Sudan and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/ Sudan People’s Liberation Army to end the longest running conflict in Africa.
