Intermón Oxfam has worked in South Sudan since 1992, in the area of Bahr el Ghazal, assisting the population that has been devastated by more than 20 years of internal conflict and war. Intermón’s humanitarian work is based on water and sanitation activities and food security, assisting more than 74,000 people as well as the development of initiatives to improve the education system.
