The Diocese of Rumbek (DOR), in the Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Warrap and Lakes States of South Sudan, remains at the center of ongoing efforts by international and local organizations to improve the post north-south civil war lives of the local Sudanese communities in the 10 parishes within the Diocese. The Diocese currently covers an area of 120,000 square kilometers and embraces a population of approximately 4 million people.
