DHIS - District Health Information System

BSF is assisting BSF grant recipients with the DHIS Foundation Training. In close consultation with grant recipients BSF will do the planning and coordination with the trainer (HISP). Please note that the cost of this training has to be paid from the grant recipient’s BSF training budget and the contribution is based on the number of participants.

The training is divided in two parts of each 1 week. The first training session is scheduled for Eastern Equatoria 1 August 2011 in Torit. The next one is planned for Tuesday 9 August in Yambio for Eastern Equatoria. The training is for BSF grant recipient staff and their colleagues from the County Health Departments. We are trying to roll this out for all states with the aim to have all grant recipients on DHIS by the end of the year.
