July 2010 Kick-Off Meeting
On the 15th and 16th of July two kick off meetings were held for all 4a BSF-IA grant recipients at the Beijing Hotel in Juba. The aim of the meeting was to get to know each other and to give the grant recipients an introduction to BSF and its procedures (financial and programmatic). Subjects that were covered during the meetings:
- Financial reporting
- Quarterly reporting
- Monitoring
- Technical requirements (per sector, and mainly WATSAN)
- Sub contracting and tender procedures
- And that you’re always welcome at the Secretariat in case you have questions and/or project updates.
Category 2 projects (health extension) were not required to come to the kick off meeting, unless they had a WATSAN component.
