BSF Drinking Water Workshop, 13 February 2010

On the 13th of February there will be a BSF Drinking Water Workshop for BSF partners with a water component. This workshop will be a follow up of the drinking water lessons learned meeting, which was held in February 2009. Please ensure that relevant staff will be available to attend.

The coming workshop will have the following goals:

· Agree on BSF procedures regarding Water Quality, in line with the new GoSS Water Quality Guidelines

· Agree on the procedures regarding the submission of well log forms, rehabilitation forms and water quality forms as provided by the MWRI

· Update on functioning water points of BSF Phase 1 (we will send the Phase 1 partners a table format, to be filled in prior to the meeting)

· Update on complete records of Phase 1 and Phase 2 boreholes (we will send around reminders to the grant recipients to complete the records for all boreholes (log forms, WQ reports prior to the meeting)

· The need of boreholes drilling supervision and a discussion on how to implement this in the current grants.
